Nanjing City Wall

Another hidden gem of Nanjing is the ancient city wall that surrounds the city. It was originally built in 1367 and is one of the oldest walls in China. It’s a great way to get a sense of the city’s history and take in the incredible views from the top.

The wall is about 20 kilometers long and is made up of more than 20 gates, so it’s the perfect place to explore and get lost in the history of the city. Plus, the wall is surrounded by beautiful gardens and parks, so it’s a great place to relax and enjoy the scenery.

Confucius Temple

The Confucius Temple is another great place to explore in Nanjing. It was originally built in 1034 and is one of the oldest temples in China. The temple is dedicated to Confucius and is a great place to learn about the Chinese philosophy and culture.

The temple is a great place to explore and take in the beauty of the architecture. Plus, it’s home to a number of ancient artifacts and rare books, so it’s the perfect place to explore and get lost in the history of the city.
